15th Domenica Cup – Sveta Nedelja, March 10, 2018

15th Domenica Cup was held in Sveta Nedelja on March 10, 2018 in organization of I.K.O. Matsushima Kyokushinkaikan Croatia and Kyokushin Karate Club Domenica Sveta Nedelja.

On tournament participated:

  • 48 teams from different organization with total number of 280 competitors from kids to adults
  • 107 competitors in 8 categories of Kata competition
  • 231 competitors in 35 categories of Kumite competition
  • 13 countries (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Spain, Ukraine, USA and Croatia)

The main sponsors of the tournament were the Prefect of the Zagreb County Mr. Stjepan Kožić and Mayor of the city of Sveta Nedelja Mr. Dario Zurovec.

Matsushima Kyokushinkaikan Croatia represented with 10 competitors from club Fortis Samobor (David Lisec, Elena Lisec, Lara Čerkez, Viktoria Štefović, Dominik Stanić, Gabriela Suša, Maja Vrančić, Tomislav Božić and Luka Sekelj) and 17 competitors from club Domenica Sveta Nedelja (Luka Kucan, Kala Jurak, Luka Tuk, Tino Đuzel, Barbara Jurinec, Lorena Marković, Alen Ćosić, Mateo Ćosić, Sara Vidak, Viktoria Klemenčić, Lana Brajdić, Nika Šemeš, Barbara Kranjčec, Michael Tuk, Borna Polanšćak, Bruno Stojanović, Mateo Raič) – congratulations to all!!!

This year again the most successful competitor on tournament was Tomislav Božić from club Fortis Samobor who won the same like last year 1st place in Kumite in junior +75 kg category and 2nd place in Kata competition in junior category.
