With the participation of over 500 competitors from 32 countries, on June 29, 2025, the 4th Shihan Furko Kalman Memorial and the 40th Szolnok Cup were held in Hungary.
The Croatian Kyokushinkai Association was represented by Lukas Jurak, Patrik Katić, Jerko Jalšovec and Leon Ratković from Domenica Sveta Nedelja and Dominik Stanić from Fortis Samobor.
In the tough competition of the older cadet’s category -55 kg, Lukas Jurak won 3rd place, as did Patrik Katić in the older cadet’s category +65 kg.
There was also very strong competition in the older junior’s category, where Jerko Jalšovec won 3rd place in the -75 kg category, while Leon Ratković won 3rd place in the -85 kg category.
Dominik Stanić also won 3rd place in the most demanding adult’s category, in the adult’s ”A” category +90 kg.
